We often stop at Village Inn in Glenwood for breakfast, and it’s always a great experience. The breakfast is wonderful — everything is fresh, tasty, and consistently delicious. Highly recommend!

Two salads. Each large enough for two meals. And really good quality, well made.
A caramel pecan French silk pie. Filling was delicious. Crust was not. We just ate the filling. Crust had a grainy, cold shortening texture and a been in refrigerator wet and mildew flavor profile.

We were in there yesterday for an early lunch (Aug 27th) and I could see they were really really short-staffed. The hostess not only sat us, but also took our orders and brought us our food and drinks. We realized she was taking care of almost the whole area by herself, and she was wonderful. She basically was doing the work of 5 people and made it look easy, I wish I got her name, but she deserves a raise and more because the restaurant would have really struggled without her.
