This place is adorable and charming and the service was up to par. But the food was disappointing, especially for the price point. The sourdough starter was great, we especially loved the garlic butter. But there is no way their pasta is made in house daily as they claim. We had the clam spaghetti and the lasagna and while both were presented beautifully, they both lacked flavor. The pasta was chewy and the sauce was watery. My friend I just had dinner at Bella Colibri. From the homemade pasta and sourdough to the outstanding waitstaff, we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. I highly recommend Bella Colibri for an authentic Italian meal in the beautiful, scenic town of Golden, CO.

Bella Colibri is a hidden gem — truly the best Italian restaurant in the greater Denver area. We hosted our private wedding rehearsal dinner here for about 50 guests.
