I indulged in the Mac and cheese with steak. It was outstanding. My friend had the shrimp ceviche and honestly it had a LOT of onion, and it kind of overwhelmed the less pronounced diced shrimp. We split a bottle of my favorite wine (The Crossings). My friend loved her dessert but I have to agree that pie with ice cream crammed into a warm glass did look gorgeous but it was super hard to eat without spilling it all over the place. I was not impressed with my buffalo burger, and the salmon that my friend ordered was not fully cooked and we had to send it back. My wife's bacon sandwich only had one slice of avocado.. Our waitress was very pleasant. That was the highlight of the evening.
The food was ok, not great, and the waiter was hurried during all of our interactions. The waiter was very quick with taking our orders, delivery of food and drinks and check closeout but was fairly robotic and devoid of personality and any welcoming behavior. Not what we have experienced previously but generally ok (not good or great if that is the objective).
