I regularly go here to get their vegan breakfast burrito (with avo, and smothered in green chile, obvs). It is better than any other vegan burrito I’ve EVER had. Including at entirely vegan restaurants. This burrito has tofu, and potatoes, and kale, among other goodness. And the crema on top?! VEGAN. Their seasonal lattes are excellent as well (with oat milk, of course!)

We walked here after checking out the Colorado school of mines museum and was so glad we did. We didn't try the coffee but the lunch offerings were delicious. I had the BLT and while the bread slice was smaller than the turkey sandwich, it was still very good. Great service too! Would come back.

Got a spiced chai with my spicy date.
Loved the charisma of the baristas! And the drink wasn’t too sweet — just right. Atmosphere-wise, felt like everything was a bit manicured weirdly?? Definitely was missing a bit of the creativity of other spots in Golden.

Not custom to leaving reviews, however I have been trying to go with the mindset “support small business” but a service like today at Cafe13 is a good reminder why SB exists.
Within 1 hour and 15minutes I was asked 3 different times by 3 different waiters if I wanted them to clear my table.
The Location is great though.

I’ve ordered takeout from Cafe 13 five times, and four of those orders were wrong. I consistently pay extra for gluten-free bread and avocado, and the last time I didn’t receive either. The two orders before that were missing bacon entirely.
It’s extremely frustrating to pay extra for specific items—and tip—only to receive half of what was ordered. After multiple chances to get it right, nothing has improved. This level of service is unacceptable, and I won’t be returning.

Ordered the Turkey and Provolone sandwich. Dry stale bread. Cheap, highly processed turkey, not even separated (like you know when you pull them out of the package and the meat is just this watery stack?). A thin single slice of cheese not even big enough to cover the whole sandwich. The only decent ingredient of this sandwich was the mixed greens. Then my stomach hurt not long after. Overall a huge disappointment because I used to love this cafe—the quality was not there. Not sure I can bring myself to take another chance on it. ;(

I really like this bakery. They also have breakfast and lunch options. If you like nice French baked products, you should stop by. You can sit outside where it’s nice out.
