El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

Clean, friendly and tasty too. Had a medium house margarita (32 oz), a taco salad and Mexican potatoes. All were really good. We will be returning.

The food is good, its what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. Every time I've come the waiter or waitress seem to disappear. They take too long to come around and check if you need a drink or even bring you the bill. Most of the time they're hiding out in the back socializing.

Got soft chicken tacos. It was horrible. Chicken over cooked and soft taco’s burnt which left a burnt taste in your mouth. Chicken chimachinga lacked chicken. Never to return.

Great food in huge portions. The medium happy hour margarita was one of those huge goblets so the late must be an actual fish bowl! I'm not sure there was any alcohol in it and it definitely was just store bought mix. And we were there at 4:30 on a weekday so it was empty and the staff did not seem like they wanted us there. At least the food was good.

I've come here over the years and usually it's decent. However, I haven't been here in over a year, and it was quite disappointing. Service was extremely slow, for not even a busy night, the ceviche was so extremely salty it wasn't even edible, which was disappointing. They never came back to do a quality check to ask us how it was. The sprinklers were spraying us in the face in the patio, covering us and our food with most likely non-potable water, we were never asked if we wanted to move somewhere else. They couldn't split our check for 2 people. Brand new menu prices were different than what was charged on our recipt, so our bill was almost twice as expensive than expected. A $10 drink rings up over $18, ceviche was over charged as well than the new menu prices by a significant amount. Very disappointing experience and a waste of $80 for 2 people. I could go to a nice steak house and have an expectional experience and food for that price.

Caught the bartender using well tequila for our top shelf drinks. 0 out of 10

This is a really nice restaurant and a nice location. Service and food was great!

Food was great, service was a different story. We ordered drinks and then took roughly 30 minutes to have someone come back to take our order.

Great food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean. Will be back again.
