We got a multitude of options to try out and they were all fantastic. Highly recommended, it's obvious this is a top notch bakery. If you're in the area, you should definitely make a trip over here.Parking: Warehouse type district, can easily find parking.
I went to Grateful Bread for the first time yesterday. My family has been telling me about it for a while and we finally got there. I bought a jalapeno Tillamook batard. When we got home we sliced it up to dip in olive oil. It was so good. This morning I toasted a slice for breakfast and it was even better the second day. I live 85 miles from Golden but I'll definitely be looking for reasons to travel there on a Saturday.

Everything we've tried from Grateful Bread has been above and beyond amazing. Our recent trip yielded a chocolate croissant-type roll, jalapeño bread and a loaf of sourdough rosemary bread. The chocolate roll was the perfect amount of chocolate and pastry. I pulled each layer off and ate it individually. The jalapeño bread was hearty and spicy; perfect for dipping into lentil soup.
