I had some time to kill before picking up some coworkers from the airport, and stopped in Golden on my way through from Central City (love Colorado!). I needed a cup of coffee, looked on Google, it gave me a place, so I went to town and parked a little ways before I got there. Walked up, just wasn't feeling it, turned around and saw Red Silo. Walked in, got a friendly greeting from Ava & William. This was the place. Got a wonderful cup of coffee, an amazing almond croissant, and they gave me tips on where to walk an explore during my short available time. What I got to see of Golden was beautiful, the experience at Red Silo makes me wish I had planned better and had time to see more. Oh well, that is for next time, and I will be coming back to Red Silo!

Best coffee on our trip! Chill atmosphere and great service. I am a coffee snob and it was amazing. Other coffee shops seemed to get more hype, but this is the ONE.

1:30 pm on Saturday June 14, 2025 came in for a large coffee I was the only one waiting at the counter, a male and female proceeded to ignore me while they stocked cup and lids and other supplies the male finally took my order and the female said we are out of fresh brewed and would I like an Americano i said sure but then they tried to charge me almost double the price of a coffee. They were both rude and then also ignored the customer that came in behind me. The hours says close at 4pm that when the restocking should take place.
