Tequila's Family Mexican Restaurant

Not amazing, but not bad at all. Pretty standard Mexican food for the area. Prices were average. The service was good.

Are normal go to Mexican restaurant in Golden was closed so we found ourselves at Tequila’s. Amazing food, service and margaritas. We now have a new favorite!

I was really hungry and thought oooh carne asada fries sound bomb right now and there is a Mexican restaurant down the street from my house perfect! I had it once not my fav but hey I’ll give them ANOTHER chance meat was rough last time I ordered the same thing btw. I call lady takes my order for pickup keep in mind I had to ask for my total she proceeds to tell me 27.04 which I thought was a lil high or maybe it was because I added guac/ extra cheese and sour cream? Whatever I’m hungry I send my husband to get it when he gets home he tells me the lady was pressuring him to leave a tip? Since when do we gotta tip for pickup orders that we haven’t even had a chance to eat yet?! Yikes! My fries were soggy no crunch at all if you know you know. Chili was bland no kick at all meat had flavor but was somewhat lardy? Yea no… terrible quality huge portion and a “free chips and salsa” chips bland no salt please go elsewhere guys definitely not worth almost 30 dollars for soggy bland food guess I’ll be taking a trip to a further Mexican restaurant sorry I should of took a pic before I ate my food but this is what size container I got for further reference if anyone is curious

Placed a call in order and had to repeat the order 4 times and they still ended up getting it wrong. The prices on the website are not even close to being correct, deluxe taco salad online says 12 dollars (without guac or sour cream), they charged over 16 dollars for it.

Huge portions, great tasting food and the service was spot on.

They are amazing honestly I moved out to golden not to long ago and they always treat me good I always feel welcomed. They have good tasting food and drinks as well. Family night or just picking up some dinner, i recommend you check em out! Staff is also always great! Everything about them is pretty awesome. Check it out if you haven’t already!

The BEST Mexican restaurant in the city!! Wow!!

As a crew from AZ when we worked anywhere near Golden this was the spot. We would even plan our mobilization to and from Wyoming to make sure we were staying in the Denver area just so we could eat here. Food is the best
