First time here and WOW! I got pulled pork (so much delicious smoke and incredibly tender) and the brisket due to no hot links and I'm glad I did. Brisket was fall off the bone tender and smoky as well. I contemplated marrying BBQ sauce with the meat because how do you top excellence? Mac and cheese was bang out, but I am sad they were out of beans too. The value was tremendous as well. I got enough food for today's lunch and some for a sandwich tomorrow for $20. Slam dunk.
Service was excellent as well. They were out of iced tea and brewed a fresh batch on the spot. Most chain restaurants will just shrug and tell you to pick something else. I was not expected to get the same service as a recurring customer on my first visit.
I can see why this place's charms could be overlooked if you’re looking for chain barbecue. The place looks like it hasn't been updated in 50 years, and punk music blared from the kitchen as I chomped down. But I loved the atmosphere and gives a very unapologetically unique vibe. I mean who needs fancy floors when the food is amazing?
All in all, definitely a win on multiple fronts. I'll definitely be back and hopefully the punk music persists when I'm there next time.

Really great BBQ. Hush puppies were giant and delicious. The original BBQ sauce was just right. The hot links were our favorite thing on the plate. Went back for more hot links to take away with us they were so good. Great service, great food. Ten outta ten!
Great place for lunch.

I went here for lunch this week. They were all out of hot links so I plan to go back and reevaluate. The pulled pork was fantastic. The brisket was disappointing. The sides were good. Very friendly and I might have caught them on a bag day. Will try again.

Nothing like paying 30 bucks for beef jerky. Don’t forget the sauce, only way you’re going to get any juice out of that meat
Gonna have to give it 3 stars until I actually try it. I wanted a pound of brisket but their menu doesn't show prices for pounds meaning they likely DO NOT do BBQ by poundage. A slight let down. I didn't ask though, they might do pounds and just not post it due to the ridiculous cost of beef brisket these days.
Don't let this place fool you. It's a great app for BBQ!! We had a private event there and they were so accommodating. The meat was tender and their salad dressing had a surprising kick to it, amazing. Great owner and a place to support if you're in the area. Oh, I didn't mention the mac-n- cheese, WOW!!

Excellent BBQ. We were passing through Golden and found you accidentally. Very lucky find. Pulled pork was delicious and moist, brisket was tender and juicy, Slaw was great (just enough sweet and perfect tang), and I loved the spicy BBQ sauce.Thank you

Well to start as soon as I walked in the man behind the counter seemed irritated he had to stop looking at his phone to help me, if I tried to ask about something he just pointed to the wall where the menu was. He doesnt seem to like what he does which definitely hurts the business. Next the food was mediocre at best. Both meats I had were pretty much cold, but the sides were boiling which tells me they were microwaved before he brought them out. Sad I wasted 25 bucks and a half hour of my time to feel like an inconvenience. If there was a 0 star that's what I'd give... DO NOT RECOMMEND

Took 30 minutes to get my brisket sandwich and it was cold. This is the worst bbq I’ve had around Denver metro.
We’re from NC, and were visiting Colorado and stopped here for lunch way back in September of 2017. To this day we still talk about how good the food was. One day we’ll be back in CO and we’ll come have another great meal!
The food is only ok. Without the bbq sauce the chicken, brisket and pulled pork I got on my 3 meat plate were nearly identical except the color. Not flavorful in the sense that Bbq should be. Everything chopped, except the pulled pork, which looked identical to the chopped chicken. Unfortunately on my end I ordered hush puppies and sweet potater tots, the tots I thought would look like tots, so when I confused them for the hush puppies I called to say I didn't receive the tots, the guy who answered immediately copped an attitude and said I was looking at them. Lol, I was, totally. But a good attitude and simply saying, the 3 smaller looking hush puppies are actually the tots woulda made it enjoyable, and set me on the right path.
Food is ok, edible not gross, but coupled with a bad attitude doesn't make for a great meal. Two stars because I regularly run into not getting maybe the best food but they usually have such a great attitude and service, I may find myself going back....not the case here. Cheers!
Looks closed, always. Ate there once and nothing to write home about, that's for sure. They were expensive and food wasn't good.
