The food was excellent. I’ve had their pizza many times and their wings are good as well. Their desserts are either too rich or somewhat lackluster so I recommend filling up on main course food. The environment is dim and smells like BBQ sauce, but is otherwise clean and respectful. The wait can be long but the food is so good and they can’t really control how many customers want to come dine. Service has always been respectful and mostly prompt.Parking: There is a huge public lot for downtown Golden on 12th and Washington. It is free to park for a few hours, but paid if you plan to stay a while. Parking can sometimes fill up depending on time and day.

Been coming to Woody’s since 1994! It never disappoints! It’s always clean, the food is delicious, they offer a great selection of beer, and they have attentive and kind servers. Their gluten free crust is also some of the best I’ve ever had. Idk what the comments about hygiene are.. you can literally ask your server for a new plate for each round of the buffet and they’re happy to provide them.

Shared concerns about the unhygienic practices of not having clean plates at the buffet. Yes, clean bowls were available at the salad bar, but the pizza bar was definitely lacking ANY CLEAN plates - this is an unhygienic practice which encourages patrons to reuse dirty, unsanitary plates at the pizza bar which was witnessed during our visit as employees served pizza on dirty dishes! Servers were not responsive in providing clean plates as would be required to maintain sanitation. I was told this policy was implemented to "reduce the amount of dishes in the dish pit". If you are going to have a buffet and charge for that buffet, a necessary expense may be additional expense may be increased dishwashers.

Outbreak waiting to happen!! I was so excited to finally go to Woody’s. I was shocked to see that they don’t keep plates at the buffet. Apparently we are supposed to wait for the servers to bring us buffet plates. Our waitress literally never brought us a single plate. Not once. My friend and I found where they kept the plates and had to get them ourselves every time because the waitress never brought them. We also noticed she didn’t bring them to any other tables. Sure enough, while in line for the buffet, my friend saw people reusing their dirty plates. This is a MAJOR health code violation because of the risk for hepatitis A among other illnesses. Regrettably, we won’t return until clean plates are kept available for customers since the wait staff don’t distribute them. Update in response to the restaurant’s reply: there is no scenario where it is ok for customers to reuse dirty plates at a buffet.

My family and I stopped in for lunch and were pleased with their pizza buffet!The service was great, the pizza choices were plentiful, they even allow you to place your orders and they even had a nice salad bar to go along with it.We were all stuffed and pleased.Ps. They even recommended a great ice cream shop while we waited for our table.

It was a little pricey at $16 a person, but that price tag comes with as much as you can eat pizza, soup, popcorn, and salad. Non-alcoholic mixed drinks for those under 21 are super good!Vegetarian options: The pizza buffet includes a few vegetarian options, and salad and soup are both vegetarianParking: About 20 or so parking spots available directly to the right of the restaurant, for free
