Eat here! The chef is a dedicated practitioner and loves his customers. Take the time to speak with him about his craft and his recommendations. One of the best Mexican meals I've ever had (and I've had a lot).
This place is STILL the best in Denver. Unique recipes that are not just what you’d get around town or anywhere. Great service. A real mom and pop place, with lots of pride in their food and service.
Unfortunately, the Coors Monopoly on Golden resulted in them losing their restaurant space. All the locals are rallying to support them, and I’m sure Xicamiti will rise again and be even better.

So happy that we happened upon Xicamiti in Golden! We enjoyed our first round of tacos so much that we ordered a second round at lunch. The food was fresh, flavorful and unique. Service was friendly and kind and made helpful recommendations. We will be coming back before we end our trip. I cannot recommend this food more!
