Granby Ranch is a restaurant with great options for early season trails and excellent customer service. Staff members like Anthony and Tom in the bike shop are highly commended. The walk from the condos to the slopes is short and convenient, with easy access to lifts from multiple spots. While food and drink options are somewhat limited compared to larger resorts, they are deemed reasonable for a small resort. Granby Ranch has been praised for its family-friendly atmosphere, particularly for teaching children to ski, making it a paradise-like experience for visitors from Puerto Rico.
It’s also a great place for trail running during the summer, with punishing ascents like Fraser Canyon to Nature’s Way offering rewarding views. The bike park has a little bit of everything for everyone, and the lift staff is super friendly and helpful. Lunch at the base features really good food at typical resort prices. Families love the small size of Granby, especially adventurous younger kids who can easily be found. The fire pit, snow bar, and bistro food add to the perks, along with the awesome ski school and lessons.
