This is a great family friendly area. Everyone we came in contact with was so helpful and friendly. We did a 1/2 day snowboarding lesson with Jared who was super patient with our mixed skill levels and on day 2 my kids were out there all day riding the mountain. I foresee us making this a regular vacation spot!
Granby Ranch is a small but fun ski resort with a laid-back vibe. The lifts are definitely on the slower side, but the upside is that the lines are never too bad, so you still get plenty of runs in. It’s a great spot for families, beginners, or anyone looking for a more relaxed day on the mountain without the crowds or high prices of the bigger resorts. Jennifer and the Granby Ranch team were amazing and made my proposal absolutely perfect. I'm from the Washington, DC area and had no clue what I'd be getting, but I'm overwhelmed with how great of a job this team did. I got to meet the entire team (Jennifer, Ski Lift Operators, Restaurant Staff) beforehand and helped things go off without a hitch.
