Great place to have a drink by the pool. The bartender Mitch is personable and quick with the refills.
Mitch was awesome, I was up celebrating my birthday, he made it special. Thanks Mitch!
Stopped in to celebrate our 50th anniversary while staying at Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountain. Mitch went above and beyond to give us a memorable celebration. Thanks.

Headwaters Tavern, part of the Sun Outdoors resort, offers a varied menu with reasonably priced dishes, including tacos and mac & cheese bites. Guests can enjoy excellent drinks, and many have noted the friendly and talkative service provided by staff members like Mitch. Although the service may not always be enthusiastic, it has received praise for being accommodating and engaging. The tavern shares a property with the Summit Bar and Grill, and both establishments are open to the public. The patio area, located near the resort's pool, provides a beautiful and relaxing setting, though it can be noisy at times. The daily specials and fresh ingredients, like those found in the pizza, are noteworthy, making Headwaters Tavern a recommended spot for both resort guests and the general public.
