The blue cheese escargot was delicious as were the fried oysters and the cheese plate. The wine flights were thoughtful and delicious! The wagyu cheeseburger with hippie truffle fries were yummy and decadent. The flatiron steak salad with candied beets and blue cheese was spot on with the chimichurri. The strawberry basil creme brûlée was the perfect ending to our dinner. Totally worth the 6 hour drive from Wyoming!!! Angie was an amazing server and we will ask for her again!!
Restaurant had good vibe. Server friendly and attentive. However, not happy that the $94 dinner for 2 needed to be participated by the entire table and not 2 diners. Appetizer arrived at the same time as the entree. Food itself was good, not exceptional. Fries looked like the bottom of the basket - small pieces and overcooked.
Great service and variety of choices for vegan dishes. Everything was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and staff did a great job of making the meal special without going overboard.
We had a lovely meal. We enjoyed the pre dinner cocktail and flight of wine with our meal.
As always, service is wonderful and the food is delicious with options for different dietary needs. 626 is always our first choice for any special occasion!! Thank you!!
This restaurant was amazing!!! Patrick was the most lovely server and the plant based options (for a non-vegetarian) were delicious!!
Excellent dining experience. My wife is vegetarian, and 626 Rood always has creative, nutritious vegetarian options. She a tofu curry dish tonight that was scrumptious. I had a special fixed price 4 course medley. The first 2 were vegetarian: a smooth ratatouille soup and tempura cauliflower. Course 3 was crevice and pasta. 4th was very delicious vanilla cake with espresso crumble, caramel, and firm merengue “kisses.” There are also numerous cocktail and wine choices. We did save about 2/3 of the dessert to bring home. Our server was Bailin, whose professionalism was evident from the start. Her attention to our preference and questions was superb. I highly recommend 626 on Rood. We have been regulars there since we moved to Grand Junction about 3.5 years ago.
Great evening at 626 -- Outstanding service, imaginative cocktails and delicious meals in a very cool restaurant setting - we will be back!
Delishious Smoked duck breast salad & lobster mac, bonus plus was a fabulous glass of Sauvigion blanc!

Popped in on an impromptu date night and had the best dinner! I had the best filet i have had in years and the pecan pie for 2 was impressive even to us Southern transplants! Theo and Brenda have quite the shoes to fill with the next owner.

First time at 626 Rood, we are industry people who love good food, good service and good drinks.
At first glance, overpriced menu. Our server was pleasant and had a wonderful personality. She had memorized everything she had been taught to memorize very well.
Cocktails, two of the three cocktails we had were very unbalanced and not good. Aside from the fairly decent espresso martini we had for dessert. What you’re losing in quality from shaking a cocktail table side far out weighs what you’re gaining in presentation. A server shaking a cocktail while holding a tray can’t possibly shake it hard enough to properly blend the ingredients and aerate a drink. Let alone double strain it and remove the pulp.
The food was overall pretty good. However, overpriced for what it is and we are not afraid to spend good money on fantastic food. I will say we ordered 3 salads for 4 of us, two were sharing one. Two salads came and the third did not come until entrees. Which meant it was difficult to enjoy the salad and enjoy the entree while hot. Duck breast on the salad was flavorful but chewy. Duck breast cut thinner would’ve helped.
Typical scenario in Grand Junction, potential but just not hitting the mark. It wouldn’t take too much to make this restaurant earn 5 star reviews but sadly we feel 3 stars are accurate at this time.

We had dinner for our anniversary here and it was exceptional. Sophie, our server, was very attentive, made excellent recommendations for our meals and added a special surprise for our dessert. She even labeled our take home boxes. The chef enticed all our senses from presentation to every bite that was tender, savory, and sweet. Pure plates of delight. They have an extensive bar menu to complement your meal. We highly recommend 626 Rood for it's fine dining experience.

626 started their Happy Hour again recently and we love it. Half price wine, cocktails and a beer special along with light apps. We really enjoyed Amy the bartender as we sat at the bar. This place is one of the special places in GJ.

Best calamari in years! Food and service are excellent! This was our first visit. 626 will now be a must whenever we're in Grand Junction. Really a don't miss. The staff is 5 star. That is very rare. Happy hour drinks were excellent. The barkeeper was a great bartender and was personality plus. We just might plan a trip to Grand Junction just to go to 626.

Our server recommended dishes and wine pairings that were stunningly good! Her detailed knowledge of the menu and ability to gauge what we would enjoy after a few simple questions was service we dream about! And every bite of our meals was bliss! The charcuterie board was a wining start!
