Sadly, I have to give the Ale House a negative review.The food used to be fantastic. I'm not sure what choices have been made over the last few months the but the food is very bland now. I would compare it to the food for IBS patients at the hospital.The mac & cheese specifically used to be something to rave about. The burrito, salads, and sauces are also shallow and tasteless now. Also, who fries pickles the long way?This is no longer worth the moderate amount that you spend here.

I still love the atmosphere here, it's my favorite place in town to eat outside. If I were just drinking outside, I would have no complaints.I'm not sure when the menu and recipes changed, but all of our food was bland, tasteless, and unremarkable. A favorite dish of mine that I was looking forward to as my birthday dinner has changed and is no longer any good at all (the mac & cheese entree). They removed my spouse's previous favorite dish and he was sorely dissapointed with his meal. Our child's meal was equally bland and tasteless.It took what felt like a very long time for our order to be taken and for our food to arrive despite it not looking very busy. We know certain dishes could take longer to prepare but we couldn't think of any reason why our specific meals would take longer than usual.I do not see myself coming back unless it's just to drink with friends or family. The food is no longer worth it.

Service was actually excellent here which was unexpected but much appreciated. Our server was just so kind and so incredible. Cocktails were great and meals were well priced with generous portions! Great drink menu and food options. will definitely eat here again at future visits to GJ!

The food was horrible and tasted like is was rushed or very old. And then when I called to say there was a missing item in my order, they tried to blame me for forgetting it, when they were they ones who handed me my to go order. Screw this place

Nice place with great service. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the nachos. The chips were stale and they were stingy with the cheese sauce. The smashed avocados were tasty and fresh, the best part of the dish.
Good experience here in our first visit. The service was great, the chicken satay was awesome, the fried pickles were very good, the not pictured fish & chips were great and the lemon dessert was tasty. The special cocktails on the menu were delicious too. Definitely will return. Returned for another try, the cocktails were delicious, tried the hummus and can recommend! The salmon was good, the couscous wasn’t cooked 100% but was still good.

May have been a time that everything was shifting. I was comparing burger's, the wife got tacos. Re: the burger, medium would have probably better cuz I ordered medium well. The thickness of the the bun and not buttered and toasted on the grill made it dry and with the change of the meat, well it was dry. Worth another try. I got sweet potato fries. The fries were thin and may have taken a pause because of the meat temp but had shriveled. I mean no disrespect and will take this upon myself with timing and such. The tacos, well the wife didn't bring home what she hadn't eaten. Timing I guess. We have had better here in townWheelchair accessibility: Ramp is very good angel and decent. Door wasn't automatic that I saw. Tables on the other side looked to be easy access. I didn't use the restroom so unable to remark

Overall we had a great experience here. Very clean atmosphere, fantastic bartender and many unique menu items to choose from & very tasty. A little pricier than other places but for a great experience I would come back again for another special night.
