Applebee's Grill + Bar

The wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable about specific food ingredients (I wanted to avoid artificial butter-flavored oils), accommodating to special requests, and quick. The food was fine, no complaints at all. The atmosphere was somewhat loud due to exuberant dinners enjoying rounds of drinks to celebrate. Overall enjoyable experience at this Applebee's in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Easy location to find, plenty of parking.

Today was our first visit in years, sadly the food was not good. Pasta undercooked, chicken was gristly. Both burgers were fair although very salty.

The riblets are sooo yummy! And their all you can eat deal is the cherry on the cake.

Our food was very good. Our waiter was named Justin and he was on it in every way. I wish Ky's Applebee's were this good!

Very friendly staff

My wife and I stopped in for lunch at the Applebees in Montrose, Colorado two weeks ago. Having had several bad experiences in the past, we were hesitant to waste money again. Much to our surprise, we were greeted by a very pleasant hostess who happened to seat us in an area that was being attended by Lorel. She turned out to be an absolute pleasure to have as our server. She is very attentive to any needs and went out of her way to make our dining experience far above expectations. As for the food, it was exceptional. Everything was cooked to perfection and we enjoyed every bite. It might be noted, Applebee's has a daily special between 11-2 Monday thru Friday. As of this review, the price is $9.99. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. We have been back several times in the last two weeks to enjoy different dishes. If you decide to go, ask for Lorel. She will make sure you are well taken care of.

Bartender is very liberal Trump hater and we could hear him across the bar. We were just there for food not political opinions.

Late evening visit. Server was very attentive. Food was very tasty. Spinach and artichoke dip, chicken and shrimp with garlic green beans substituted for mashed potatoes, and Caesar side salad. All dishes were appropriate temperature and also flavorful.

So. I go in she ask to place a to go order. The person sent to help me walks up with a scrap of paper. OK, whatever. Everyone else has a tablet but no biggie. I then tell him I want a ribeye steak. He asks if I want that with or without bbq sauce. He thought I wanted ribs. I explain that it's a cut of steak. I order my sides an appetizer of mozzarella sticks, and a blondie dessert with ice cream. I waited for my food and he brings it out all in one bag. WITH MY ICE CREAM DESSERT IN THE MIDDLE BETWEEN THE TWO HOT ITEMS!!! And no eating utensils. I was too preoccupied with separating my ice cream that I didn't bother to make sure my order was correct. I get back to my hotel ready to eat my ribeye and find that he decided to place an order for a six ounce sirloin. The steak was WAY overcooked and was so tough that I couldn't even cut it. I had to pick it up with my fingers and chew off bites. This was the WORST meal I've had to endure. I'm so dissatisfied that I'm forced to post this horrible review.

Parking: It was a Monday night and it was packed! They have been extremely busy. Friday night there was a 2 hour wait list. They stayed calm and friendly through the whole crazy night. Was it because the Broncos were in playoff game? I think that was part of it.
