We stayed at hotel Maverick for 4 nights. Almost everyday we had breakfast at Betty’s gourmet. The place is nice and cozy, food is fresh and a lot of variety for all of us including my 2 year old. The best part of it all was the kindness of the staff including Hilary and Carlos.
I ordred a chai latte and a waffle with fresh fruit. The barista was very kind a welcoming and the latte was delicious. The waffle however was not. It was clearly made from a boxed mix and instead of fresh fruit I got frozen blueberries that were warmed up. This caused the fruit juices to soak into the waffle and make it soggy. Not very yummy to eat
This is SUCH a spot! It’s special because it offers a more personable touch that Starbucks can’t. Also, their changing and updating options as well as easy accommodation for their products is very easy to help when you have allergies and etc. I liked their friendliness and the flavors they had to offer!
