Our first time visiting Devil's Kitchen. Just the 2 of us went out, made reservations for 7 pm and asked for Snow Globe or Gondola. We arrived at 6:55, were greeted and promptly seated at 7. It is a very clean and elegant establishment, but you do not feel uncomfortable or like its very formal. Our server was very nice and answered questions a d had suggestions. This restaurant far exceeded my expectations in every category. The ambience was delightful, our waiter was superb for so many reasons, and the happy hour prices and selection was perfect. This will always be my go-to for a glass of wine and appetizer whenever I visit Grand Junction.
Drinks were great, service was great, atmosphere was fine, but the food really was just meh. Pretty bland, and overall not the best especially for the price. The deviled eggs appetizer was good, but it’s hard to mess up deviled eggs. And our dessert was delicious. But the entrees just weren’t great. I’d probably just go back for happy hour, drinks and apps.
