Max and his family are awesome! They're very welcoming & friendly, from the time I enter the restaurant until I leave. I love the decor from the large planter/water decoration just inside the door to the authentic interior. There are plenty of large booths and tables that can be combined for extra-large groups.
The Asian food is some of the best in the valley! And the sushi can’t be beat. I always have to take home leftovers since I can never finish everything on my plate. The prices are reasonable and I also get my money’s worth. I am never disappointed. We have had many birthday/holiday celebrations here.
I recommend Yama Sushi for anyone & everyone that loves Sushi & Asian food!

Been here a few times and both times weren't so great. First time I was given the wrong entree from another table, so that was my first red flag. Second time, I waited to be sat and obviously got ignored for a long time, until finally an old man sat me down. There is an older woman who I assume is the owner who is very rude to customers, whether they are asking where the bathroom is or asking for something for their meal. My final straw was when I ordered sushi, when it came it immediately smelled horrendous! Like it came straight out of the garbage. It really killed my appetite and I do not think I will be returning. The only upside to this place is that the atmosphere is okay. I do not recommend.
