Outstanding bakery, delicious, great variety, great service.
Great breakfast sandwiches!! But they are literally NEVER OPEN. their hours on google are always wrong. Lol just went in for a sandwich while they were open, and they said they are done making sandwiches for the day and they were sold out of pastries. So even when you are open, you aren't open. I get it

Great food. Nice, helpful employees.
Parking: The parking is dangerous, imo, due to the layout of the parking lot and its only one way in and out.

One of our favorite bakeries!
Amazing. A loaf of sour dough, a dessert and the breakfast sandwich on faccaia.
Might be the best ever.

This is by far the best bread you will find on the Western Slope. I can't imagine going back to grocery store bread.

Absolutely the best bakery ever! Very, very high quality products for the money, and the nicest staff who really take care in what they do. Excellent sourdough bread and sandwiches. I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. I wish I lived in Grand Junction so I could buy their baked goods weekly. Seriously, you can't go wrong with any of their yummy bread, pastries and sandwiches!

I am really picky with my food and one thing is certain, Kulina Lani knows their bread. I’ve never had anything like it. Try it for yourself and see.

Popped into Jitters to get a chai tea latte and as I was leaving a gentleman approached me and asked if I had been to the bakery across the parking lot. I said no, I didn't even know there was a bakery across the parking lot. He said I had to go there to get something delectable to have with my tea. I had a few minutes to spare so I thought why not?
When you walk into Kulina Lani Organic Sourdough, your senses are mesmerized by the smell of fresh baked bread, cinnamon, vanilla and other scents of deliciousness which immediately waft over your entire body.
There were so many insanely beautiful treats, that it took me awhile to decide what to get.
As you can see from the pictures, there are multiple choices for bread, cookies, breakfast items, muffins and more.
I ended up getting a loaf of cranberry walnut, sourdough bread, ginger cookies, oatmeal cookies, and a couple of breakfast bites. I'm not usually a fan of walnuts however in this bread they were delicious!
The ginger cookies had just the right amount of spice and were a tasty addition when dunked in my chai tea. Needless to say they were gone before I made it back to my car.
The bakery is small, and was packed with customers! The staff was hustling and bustling to serve every guest waiting in line. They were also extremely friendly and took time to answer my questions. This is my new favorite bakery in Grand Junction, Colorado. I highly, highly recommend you stop in here the next time you are in town or just need something to dunk in your coffee. Kulina Lani is just off of North avenue and 7th, in the little shopping area that has Zoup and Mama Reese, with the added bonus of Jitters Coffee kiosk in the parking lot.
Parking: As there are several businesses here, parking depends on the time of day.

I was blown away by how good everything was!!! I’m a pastry chef who has been looking all over CO for some good sourdough laminated pastries and FINALLY found it! The guava pop-tart was pure perfection. As someone who grew up in Maui I was stoked to see someone using Guava! Tasted just like the guava butter I grew up with. After we ate the pop-tart in the car we went back and bought 2 more. The chocolate croissant was great and we bought a vegan chocolate donut which was so moist and balanced! All the flavors were great. Not too sweet with an amazing sourdough taste. Y’all made my day!! (:

Thought we would try the sourdough bread, so we bought a loaf of jalapeño/cheddar. It tasted great but every slice had sand or grit in it. Maybe this was a one off, I hope so because the bread was really good. We will give it one more try!
