Best beef jerky I’ve had & I’ve had some from WY! I bought the red beef tamales and corn tortillas & a few drinks. This place is amazing. I can’t wait to pick up more tamales next time I visit! On my way to AZ I’ll for sure be buying a few dozen for my family to try! There is also a few more dish/laundry items I’d like to purchase next time too!

This store is CLEAN! It the first things I noticed on my first visit. Love the tamales, they are always constantly delicious, they are heavy on the masa side but that is how I like them, so lucky me!
Great assortment of cooking items, food/drinks, fresh made salsas and guacamole, and of course the huge assortment of fresh tortillas! GJ is lucky to have La Milpa!

Picked up some locally made tortillas and was distraught when I read the ingredient label after returning home. I would think there would only be a handful of ingredients to make tortillas. Instead there were over 30 ingredient including unneeded food coloring agents such as Yellow#5,Yellow#6,Red#40. These food coloring dyes are banned in some US States and many other countries due to illnesses they cause. Please remove these from your tortillas if possible!

First purchase was tamales, pico, salsa, tortillas, chips and shelf products. Everything was wonderful. Myself and family members have all been back and will continue to go back. Tamales have more filling than others in the area, pico and salsa containers packed full. You get your money’s worth. You can also talk to owners and get recipe advice!

First time in La Milpa Tortilla Factory. Huge store with a variety of items. 1/2 dozen green. 1/2 dozen red tamales. Served hot. Guacamole and chips. Fast friendly service. Reasonable prices. In and out in less than 10 minutes.

The tortillas all have preservatives and an ingredient list a mile long including things like hydrogenated vegetable oil.
Have never been disappointed by their tamales, full of flavor, a fine balance of masa and fillings, and respectable size. Appreciate the kind service.
