I'm very sad about this review this has been a consistent place for me since 1996 but the fact that we're short-staffed doesn't give you an excuse to serve your regular and loyal customers garbage I guarantee you I got cross-contamination poisoning which ain't food poisoning but it just means you're not using clean surfaces and I understand that my server was a little green but that does not give her an excuse for not having service skills. We might return and when we do I hope the experience is better but for now I have to leave this review it's just too bad because like I said this is my place for Ostiones and Coronas. I can't see me eating oysters from a place that has cross-contamination issues.

For the last 20yr, the creamy chicken enchiladas have been my favorite! Still my go to place. Sadly, it had been yrs (5ish) the last time I went. The food still has amazing, creamy, cheesy chicken but I have to say, the atmosphere and decor, was the same as it had been for the last 20yr . Add in the low attentiveness from the waiting staff, I realize my love for this place maybe more myself...and not the food I ate and later regretted.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and changing tables

We spent $37 for fajitas during lunch and did not get very much food. I used to enjoy coming to Leons, but we're not spending that amount of money and not getting what we paid for. Unfortunately, you lost a customer.

I gave one star across the board for food, service and atmosphere.Place is dirty with tables needing cleans and dust all over the ceiling tiles. Looks like it hasn't been deep cleaned in awhile.Service was lacking and I know they are short staffed but didn't receive any service for refills till the end.Lastly, I and my friend both ordered the Chimichangas with shredded beef. When we got them they had ground beef instead, which I hate in a Chimichanga. It took awhile to get our food and because I had another meeting I didn't want to wait to get it replaced. Halfway through our meal I just couldn't take it and I went up to the staff to explain that I had ordered shredded beef and ground beef was not even an option on their menu for the Chimichangas. She acted like she didn't understand my English so I showed her the menu and explained in Spanish that "Carne molida" wasn't even an option and we had asked for "carne deshebrada". Her reply was "well you ate it." To which I replied no not all of it. I expected to receive a discount since it was not what was ordered, instead she charged full price. That was not the only issue with the food. The chimichangas were soggy like they had been made earlier. The beans were not all the way cooked and it was too greasy for my stomach to handle.

My boss and I used to eat here a couple times a week and I gotta be honest it was pretty good and the girls that work there were super friendly and made me feel welcome. The main reason I quit eating there was one time I peeked around the counter and saw wrappers for those store bought Jose ole $1.99 chimichangas in a pile…I didn’t see them serving them up or anything, but it’s like….why were they there, you know. I’d stick with the tacos though. They were always hella good.

Great authentic locally owned Mexican restaurant! Been eating here for years! Food is always bursting with spicy flavors and the service is always so nice! Variety of menu items and each all so delicious! Ask for the 911 sauce for extra spiciness!

I got a pork chimichanga and it was terrible the meat was awful and greasey and bland. . The chips are stodgy and the salsa spicy. The other food we got was about the same. If it had flavor it wasn't good.I rarely complain about anyplace I go and I hate to leave a bad review. Just wasn't our cup of tea. New to town it was a two timer- our first and last visit. For 3 people it was 46$ and two of us hardly touched our food. and she didn't ask if it was ok. I had hoped she would ask. On a positive note they had Coke and it was good.Wheelchair accessibility: It actul restaraunt would be accessible after a small curb
