Amazing off the hook traditional Mexican food. I got the rolled tacos with guacamole, my friend got the smothered shrimp burrito, and the food was piping hot, and fresh, to die for. Every time we head this way, it’s gonna be our number one spot.
Super fries are the way to go
Food is fresh, a bit ghetto. But it’s good food
Shrimp tacos are certyyy.
Went to eat after a long day of driving, when there were only a few places open. Luckily Google maps suggested Los Jilbertos over Taco bell and Applebees - the food was amazing! Also the service was super nice
I got super fries and asked for no meat then they put a whole pile of meat on them and charged me for a medium drink when that is not even what I asked for
Super fries are amazing. Jamaica drink was good too. Good prices.

Los J's is a staple! Get the super fries or a breakfast burrito also the carne asada burrito and fish taco are good. Giant portions for decent price and don't forget the green sauce!

Los Jilbertos is perfect to celebrate Big Cat performances from the Fruita Middle School Wildcat basketball teams. Open 24 hours gets that BIG breakfast burrito on time, every time before those early morning practices.

I really hate writing this review, but posting since it's a safety concern consumption of raw potatoes is not only unpalatable but also poses potential health risks.
The first time we had this early November, potatoes were slightly undercooked. Decided to try again, second time, on November 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., potatoes were raw barely cooked. Ended up tossing the buritto.
Both times, I ordered the same thing - breakfast buritto - eggs, potato, bean, and cheese. Husband picked up/brought home.
As a supporter of local businesses, I urge the owner to please address this issue by ensuring potatoes are cooked to a safe temperature.
Maybe it doesn't happen often, but two times is enough for us. We decided to pass on eating here again and don't recommend it. Sadly disappointed. Good luck with your food choices, rating 1 star food.
*Pic pulled apart burittos. The buritto itself looks good when you get, but no go on eating it.

You take a gamble when you order. Your super fries might be dried out. Or the carne asada just doesn't taste right and you wind up sick. Los Js used to be good all time and priced reasonably, now your spending 30 bucks on average to get sick or ripped off. Can't recommend at this time.
