Thr is a must visit for any vegan. The flavor, the presentation, the quality of food... all incredible. Ive never been to a sushi restaurant that served vegan rolls anywhere close to this place. Pictured is the Vegan combo sushi platter and the hibiscus (seasonal) pana cotta.
The food was impeccable with amazing service as always but what really took our experience this evening to another level was the one on one engagement that Josh had with our 8 year old autistic son when he chose to sit at the sushi bar. He struggles with his speech and warming up to people but Josh was genuinely engaged in this moment and to see such a genuine care for an 8 year old who was just excited to get his tuna roll was an experience I won’t soon forget. They have a dedicated vegan menu for every section of the menu. They are a bit spendy so we usually only go for special occasions.
Flavors are always great. They don't just take the meat out and call it "vegan".
They do cook all of their food in the same oil, but I know this BECAUSE THEY PUT IT ON THE MENU. Conspicuously in multiple locations, which tells me that they cared enough to list it.
