Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

Been going here for 20 years. Today they refused to seat those waiting, despite 1/3 of the bar being open. This was on a Thursday afternoon that was hardly busy. So they choose to leave people standing in the entry rather than seat at open tables. My 20 years ends today :)

Being a New Yorker, I was bit hesitant to stop here, however the people looked happy exiting the building, so I decided to stop. The hostess was gracious enough to allow me to change seating and go outside. Tim was my server, and he was amazing. Tim was patient as I mulled over the menu and knowledgeable about all the products. The Cesear salad was awesome, and I love how they are not stingy with the dressing. The pizza ingredients were fresh and the brownie was the perfect end to this meal. Tim made sure I got to take my ice cream with me!!! Be sure to add this Pizza spot on your list of things to do while in Grand Junction. PS your newest employee made sure to tell me that you all prep all of the veggies and I appreciate the freshness of all the ingredients. The hard work of your team shows!!

We visited on Easter so it wasn't busy. The calzones were good. We didn't try the pizza. We had to sit in the bar area and the TVs were showing sports and a little loud, but not terrible. Service was great. Next time we pass through, I would eat here again.

They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied!

The service was the worst I have ever experienced, and I am so not picky. When we got out pizza an hour later, all the toppings were in the middle and it was just a big plain crust everywhere else. Spreading the sauce and toppings out isn't that difficult. It took twenty minutes to get our appetizer, no biggie, of spinach and artichoke dip. However our salad we had to ask for later after the wait for the pizza and we were told he forgot about it. Said he and the bartender had migraines. My sister ordered a beer and it took 20 minutes to arrive. The lady cleaning up around us from an empty table was the one who asked if we were alright since we had been left alone so long. The restaurant was pretty much empty, and the server dropped off two small boxes with our cookie dessert with the comment he assumed we wanted to get going. I understand if the place is busy, but it was pretty much empty and had 2000s music playing super loud. I'm in my thirties, so it wasn't that annoying. It's just hard to talk over and my baby ended up getting fussy toward the end since it was almost a two hour early lunch. Bathroom didn't have a changing station, which happens, but I think I was just annoyed at that point.

Sean was awesome behind the bar! He made me a great non-alcoholic drink to enjoy while waiting on my food! He is definitely an asset to the team at this place!

Wonderful experience both times I've been here with great attentiveness and friendly staff. I love there three-fer. Such a good deal I got a calzone, salad, and donut bites. The mixed sodas are a very cool additive too.

Honestly wasn't very happy they were out of three of the items we asked for and our bill was outrageous for the little food and drinks we got, their 7 dollar long Island wasn't to bad though

Great pizza and service

Had the worst experience ever, called the gm, contacted corporate, and asked the host to have management call me. The only response I got was on here saying that I should call again. When I asked for a manager when I was there they said there wasn't one on duty. Definitely making a bbb complaint for the $100 I paid for food and drinks I didn't get

3/10 menu has been cut back again. Chicago 7 pizza the toppings didn't even touch! Restaurant was filthy dirty, dining area as well as restrooms. 2 toilets and 1 sink out of order. Waitress was very nice. Only good part of the visit.

Great pizza place, keep up the good work. Thank you for the best pizza. I finally got green olives on a pizza.
