Flavors of food were not that good. The pho was mostly broth. Rice dish was blah. It wasn’t terrible but nothing to go back for and prices were high.

Pho 88 is delicious! We havent stopped thinking about since our last visit. We grabbed P5 for take out and it did not disappoint! Absolutely incredible service, food and great environment. Will be eating there again!

Upon entering, I was handed a menu and told to find a seat myself. No one came to attend to us until we waved and called out to a male waiter who was busy on his phone. We ordered our food, but no one served us throughout our meal. I saw two waiters, a man and a woman, sitting and playing on their phones. I called the male waiter to pay the bill, and he came over very impatiently, talking to the female waiter as he approached. Despite this, we still left a tip. When we left, they didn't even say thank you. There was absolutely no interaction throughout our visit, as if we shouldn't have been there at all. Whether you're the owner or an employee, basic courtesy is essential when running a business. I seriously doubt the owner of this restaurant actually wants to run this business, because the service from these waiters was terrible.

Closed 45 mins early for no reason! You have hours for a reason. It’s not like we showed up 5-10 mins before close. We would have been out before you closed. Very disappointed we have been going here for years and honestly waited a few days before I posted this. Food is great and service is usually too but we never would have known that based of the other night.

The food has previously been wonderful. This evening we tried to go at 8:15. The two younger women in the front said they wanted to go home early so the kitchen would be closing at 8:30. However, the hours online are they are opened till 9 plus there were multiple tables full.

Pho 88 really understands comfort food. I love coming here after work because the smell of broth and grilled meat instantly makes me hungry and relaxed.
I brought my family here and everyone loved it. My parents said the flavors reminded them of home. The broth is rich but never oily, and the spring rolls are fresh and flavorful.

I've eaten top quality pho (grandma's recipe, all-natural ingredients, pricey, etc.), so understand what is possible on the high end. The pho here was very good for the price, particularly considering that they don't take the easy shortcut of pumping it full of MSG. For many folks that doesn't really matter, but for some of us, it does. Service was prompt and friendly and I left pleasantly surprised. I'll certainly eat here again.
