Been eatin here for awhile,Staff is extremely friendly,Food has ALWAYS been really good and it's reasonable,waitresses are always nice to me even tho I only tip 5%.(that was meant to be funny,btw) Love love this place!! Highly recommended it..
I've eaten here twice as the guest of a hiking buddy, and because we don't come in until early afternoon I don't usually eat much. But the last time we came, I ordered two eggs over easy with wheat toast and home fries. The eggs were perfect, which is not something a lot of restaurants can prepare perfectly, and the toast was fine - great for dipping in the yolk. But the home fries were spectacular, a perfect blend of soft and crunchy, liberally dosed with minced sweet pepper and onion. If you've read William Least Heat Moon's book, Blue Highways, you may recall that he rated restaurants by two criteria: calendars and potatoes. I didn't see a lot of calendars, although this place is perfectly cozy. But the home fries were the best I've ever had. Our server was wonderful, too, and from what I saw of other patrons' orders, everything is served big and hot. My hiking friend's blueberry pancakes were loaded with blueberries and as big as serving platters. Randy's could be an American classic.

Our waitress was phenomenal!!! We had 1 minor issue where onions were mixed in with my food when I asked not to have them as I have a bad reaction to them. But our waitress took care of it right away. I don't typically rave about the servers but she was amazing and i thoroughly think we will be back to this location because of her. The diner does need, not updates but some revamping. The booths are old and tattered and the tables look about the same. But most of the staff were friendly and seemed happy to be there. It's gotten more expensive since the last time we were there but that's to be expected with this lovely inflation. Glad our family sit down meal out this month was here.

I was really upset at the way the manager treated a woman with her service dog. She was very rude, unreasonable, and did not know the laws regarding service animals. I will never go there again just for this reason, plus the food wasn't good. It was mediocre at best. I ordered chicken noodles soup, they brought minestrone, and never asked if I wanted the minestrone soup. I

First off the manager or whoever she was was arguing with a lady about her service dog telling she had to sit at 2nd booth coming in because it was a large dog which to me was a very stupid thing to do since the dog was then in the path of e everyone coming and going and arguing with the lady about laws. The second she said it was a service dog she should have shut up and allowed her in. Instead, it was sit there or leave. She left, then when our food came, we both ordered mommas' famous meatloaf, it looked and had the texture of mush but the french fries were good with the gravy. My wife asked about soup the waitress said today is chicken noodle when it came with the dinner instead of before like we asked it was minestrone not chicken noodle the waitress said I yeah I forget to tell you it's minestrone. I had the which was average.

Super amazing experience here! My friends and I were just passing through and decided to have breakfast in this diner. The service and atmosphere were so home-friendly and super comforting. The food was insanely delicious, and portions were not messing around. Everything is fresh, cooked to order, and explodes with flavor. I really appreciate what an excellent job the server did. She was just an absolute gem, and she knows the menu like the back of her hand. I love the local hot sauce they have here, too! Goodness, just so, so many good notes about this place. It is an absolute treasure.
