OK... so we were told that the food was good here, I was skeptical.. but OMG WE WILL BE BACK!!! The Wendy's turkey jerk off sandwich is DELICIOUS!! The portions are perfect for all at once or take home for another meal!! And the beer battered fries are a must!! Wendy is AMAZING at her job! and the menu is Hilarious!!

Wendy was rude and hostile just because she was the owner Terry's sister Where is Chad I miss CHAD as the owner with better staff and regardless of where you're living shouldn't be a reason to be rude to paying customers then question where I bought my Scallywags jacket which I purchased myself last year would prefer to have seen better employees Iike Dawn then her she shouldn't be there what so ever

Excellent food. We had the Mac n cheese and sheep dip. Super delicious. Great service from the wait staff extremely hard working and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

We've been coming here since November 2023, and it's been one of our go-to local places since.
The food is excellent, we like the vibe (usually 😉), and the staff we know are awesome (Wendy and Jody)!!!

This is their sheep dip, an artichoke spinach mozzarella bowl on "steroids" served with toasted baguettes, yummm😋

They have a strict policy of 21 and over allowed. But, we've had pick up from them, and it's been spot on👌

I was getting my car worked on down the street. I stopped at the thrift store and bought a few things, including a blanket. Afterward, I decided to grab a drink and a bite to eat at the bar. When I walked in and asked if they served food, the bartender immediately told me I had to put my things in my car. When I explained that my car was at the shop, she just looked me up and down and asked, "Why do you have a blanket then?"

I understand there might be a homeless problem in this area, but not allowing people to enjoy your establishments because they're carrying things is insane. There are many reasons someone would be holding a blanket. Not everyone owns a car. Perhaps the bartender could take more time to understand the situation and use a bit more kindness before treating people poorly.

Can't go wrong with this place !! Great (made from scratch food) a good drink at a fair price and the best crew ever!

When we got to Grand Junction late, we were starving for something to eat and Scallywags was one of the few places open. Right off the bat, we were greeted by a couple in the bar, making the atmosphere friendly and comfortable. The entire place is filled with fun games, like giant connect 4, so it’s a great spot to grab a beer and spend time hanging out. Unfortunately, we got there right as the kitchen closed, but the bartender was super kind and thoughtful. She told us that she would be willing to make us sandwiches, but they would be cold because the kitchen was down. My partner and I politely declined because we didn’t mind eating elsewhere, and the bartender recommended Los Jilibertos a block away (which has 10/10 Mexican food btw) and McDonald’s (because it’s always open). The bartender, the bar, and the bar customers all had excellent vibes. Next time I pass through here, I’m definitely stopping for a beer?
