I was so excited to try this gem in Grand Junction on 7 Jan 24. We walked in and it was seat yourself which is great. Sat down and the waiter came over, dropped the menus on the table and asked in a disgusting manner what would you like to drink? I looked at him and said morning he responded in a disgusting tone and with a slight sigh morning. Usually you should be greeted with a salutation. This old-fashioned diner has wonderful & warm service and a good vibe atmosphere. The green chili and home fries come highly recommended, along with the eggs Benedict. The kid-friendly spot offers fun color sheets with crayons and small pancake breakfasts for little ones. With consistently great food and phenomenal portions, it’s worth the stop, even if it’s a little off the highway. The staff works hard to make everyone feel at home.
