My bucket list includes having nachos in every state in the union! I've had nachos in many places and they all offer something unique. I appreciate the fact that I could get a half order of nachos is not. Every place allows that. When you're sharing, it's great to get a giant plate, however, when you're on a 40 minute lunch break not so much. The chips were very crispy and lightly salted. The shredded chicken was tasty and flavorful. The guacamole was very unique and instead of being lumpy was quite smooth and creamy. Perfectly proportioned, I had enough cheese sauce and salsa to cover every chip. Overall the nachos or a yummy, delightful experience! My companion ordered a burrito and it came with a side of beans and rice. She had eaten there several times before and it was her favorite. This is my first time experiencing taqueria Guadalajara number two but it will not be my last.The restaurants atmosphere was very relaxing and it was easy to find in the Safeway shopping center, off of Horizon Drive. The service was polite and friendly, and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, was spotless!Parking: There was a great deal of parking as this restaurant is part of a large strip mall.
The white, Hispanic, looking guy at the front desk is a complete jerk. I ordered a green chili burrito smothered. I said on the phone can I get rice and beans on the side.Whenever I showed up, I asked if the rice and beans were on the side he said no that’s on a deluxe order whenever I specifically asked for rice and beans on the side he continue to argue with me, saying no you asked them to be on the inside. Like why would I ask them to be on the inside you obviously heard me wrong you dip.After I asked him to remake it, he threw the other burrito on the counter. He definitely shouldn’t be working the front very poor service, and very poor personality will not be back to this one. The location on Pitkin Avenue has great service.

Small clean restaurant with serious tasty Mexican food!!! I've tried many places in GJ and this has them all beat. Everything has a great flavor profile. They are very friendly and happy that you are there !!!! Food is fast fresh and delicious!!! I can't wait to go again soon

Out of town visitor here. Great food. Prices were higher than what I would expect but not by much. Maybe that’s just what the cost of living is around here. I had the small grilled chicken taco salad and a carne asada taco. Both were too notch. Both coworkers enjoyed their street tacos too.

We looked online for a good taco place..taqueria Guadalajara popped up..I travel and rate the places I have eaten at and this place was honestly the absolute worst mexican food I have ever eaten..A picture is worth a 1000 words. Bland, watered down,disappointing,tasteless,unfilling rudeness, and OVER RATED. If you are in Grand Junction, Colorado don't waste any of your hard earned money on this place..I am sure at one time it was a good place to eat but management cut out flavor for profit and that's sad.Parking: Any size vehicles can park because the business shares a multiple business parking lot.

I really wanted to like this place as it looked clean inside with two other patrons eating at a table. The first two street tacos (carnitas & carne asada) were really good. Then I found hair or bristles from something in my last taco (Barbacoa) (see photo). Then carne asada burrito was just refried beans, rice & some meat (see photo). It is definitely not worth the $8.20 I was charged. Burrito was not wrapped well & fell apart when unwrapped from alum foil. It was after 7pm on a Tuesday (they close at 7:30) so maybe younger folks working were already checked out for the night. Just regret the 20% tip I provided on this to-go order based on my experience.

I do not recommend this place, this is my second time here and even though I gave the place a second chance... the service is terrible. Not friendly at all, and my first order was barbacoa tacos and they were disgustingly oily, I couldn't finish them because I started to get an upset stomach because of the huge amount of oil dripping from the tacos. My second order was a barbacoa torta and I asked no mayo and yet I got it with mayo. So If you're allergic to something, I highly recommend checking your order on the spot. I won't come back here. The taqueria Guadalajara by Get Air is way better! Super friendly staff and better food. Don't know if they're the same owner?

Ordered a shrimp burrito and 2 carnitas tacos for $20+ with tip. Shrimp burrito hardly had any filling at all, might have to call it a taquito. No seasoning at all on tacos and 1/64 slice of lime for the two. No where as good as the original. Won’t be returning

The host was nice. Food was done very fast but it did not have very good flavor. I took one bite of my Chile rellano then found a hair in the salsa and stopped eating. We got a refund and left. We went to Fiesta Guadalajara and it was really good.
