We have gone to this restaurant for over 7 years and always found it wonderful. It was my husbands favorite place to dine. We went tonight 9/30/25 to celebrate his birthday even tho he passed away. The service was extremely slow, but the staff was friendly. But it was insufficient, items we ordered were never delivered and one appetizer that was ordered during happy hour wasn’t delivered until the dinner was and we were charged for dinner prices. I ordered a glass of wine and l eventually went to the bar to get it myself as it was never delivered. Not sure if it’s new ownership, lack of staff or just poor management but I don’t think I will return. It’s sad as we really liked the food. The chef that cooked our food at the table was fantastic and the only good experience.

Let me start by stating this is the only restaurant that does hibachi in grand junction. I have lived in other states and cities and have been to several Japanese steak houses. Let me start with the customer service. It was fabulous. The restaurant is small but cute. The food however, is terribly overpriced for what you get. I hope they can find a way to reduce the prices without impacting the quality.

We brought our nieces to Tepanyaki for their very first hibachi experience, and it could not have been better! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were warm, communicative, and incredibly kind, making sure everyone — even our picky 4-year-old — had something they loved to eat.

The chef put on such a fun show, and the food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked right in front of us. The extra touches for our youngest diner really showed how much they care about their guests. We left with full bellies, big smiles, and wonderful memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a little dinner-time entertainment!

Amazing Sushi rolls even though they forgot one of mine. It was worth the wait though. Bento box was a smaller portion for a big guy. I should've done the dinner but the taste of everything was 5 star. They have a Hibachi grill there too. Excellent find for someone passing through.

This is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in the grand junction area. I can't say enough great things about this place. The staff are so nice and willing to make your experience the best they can. The food authentic and the and tastes great. The atmosphere is comfortable and the dinning is awesome.

The food was great. The employees were very friendly and helpful. My only concern was that the wasabi did not clear the sinuses. I enjoyed a beef bento box.
