Hats off to the chef! The food was perfectly fried, not dark(which is usually old oil) but not here, crispy not oily. Fries were steak cut and crisp. My son had an appetizer for his dinner they were fries that were smothered in a dripping with delight, cheese that was so savory and the mix of seasonings were delightful to the pallette, so much so my nephew ordered it twice! They also had the fried pickles, which they also ordered twice✌️ Service was excellent for our group of 7, The waiter was awesome ? A great BIG thank you to the BEST white Russian I've had in the valley for awhile! Great job!

I had a very nice lunch here. The atmosphere is very open and peaceful, and the bartenders are attentive and friendly!I had an excellent cider here on a rainy fall afternoon, and got the elk burger. It was an excellent choice, and earned itself a very solid rating from me with no complaints!

We took our family to one of our favorite restaurants today, the Ale House. Sitting in the bar we were very fortunate to meet & be served by Cielo. She was amazing. Very professional, friendly & pleasant to speak with. She is an outstanding representative of this restaurant. If you meet her you will like her. Her sense of humor enhanced our experience. Food was great as usual. You won't be disappointed.

I use to love this place, and still sort of do. It’s one of the best in Grand Junction. They have cut the portion of Jamaican J*** Chicken in half!! It’s still $19.00 but literally half of what they use to serve. Charge me more, I get it, times are tough and the cost of everything has increased, but a 50% hike!?!? C'mon Man…

Stumbled upon this place when looking for food on our way to our hotel. Service started a little slow, but the food more than made up for it. Nice beer selections- had an exclusive amber ale that was delicious (unfortunately can't remember the name). Southwest steak salad was awesome - love how the carne asada was chopped up really small so you get some with every bite. My boyfriend had the blackened salmon BLT which he really enjoyed. I would go back on purpose if in Grand Junction again.

Atmosphere was great, server was good. But food was mediocre and not served even with a mere pickle, the french dip. But the $1.02 tip ADDED to the bill, for kitchen surcharge of 3%, was a surprise. I ask our server about it and she said "it is stated on the menu ". Does not the restaurant owner pay the kitchen staff? I had not been to the ale house in 6 yrs and now will not return at all......

Went to the Ale house last night, had not been in 6 yrs due to another reason. Great patio, atmosphere, and good server..had a very mediocre french dip and reuben. The bill came with a 3% " Kitchen surcharge", had not heard of this before and ask our server. She said it was to help the kitchen staff with more money....is it a customers responsibility now to help pay kitchen staff wages..? Will not return to the ale house..

Good vibe in the restaurant... wasn't super pleased with the food choices and very over priced for the quality/quantity of food.

Came in for an early dinner on Saturday and had the best experience. Our server kelsay was great, she recommended the special of the day which happened to be enchiladas and they were delicious! Definitely recommend coming here!

Decent food but Kelsay our server was the best. Knew her beers and was super attentive. Hope we have her next time.

We have been coming here for many years and it is consistently good, both the food and service. Tonight our server Autumn was fabulous, fun, friendly and great service. Great drink selection also.

Foods very tasty and consistent! Love the efficiency and the outdoor eating area... wondering if you might be slightly short staffed? cause the otherwise friendly staff seems too busy, but they still manage to provide good service

This is a very nice restaurant in Grand Junction that has delicious food. There was a great outside patio as well with the band but there was an hour wait tonight so we ate inside. The place was very busy but yet it didn't feel busy because service was quick and dinner came fast. Our table had salmon, hamburgers ?, ahi tuna wrap and another chicken sandwich.Everyone really really liked what they had.Bears and dessert were good too!

Went in for lunch yesterday and sat down at the bar. We were the first two customers in after they had opened at 11am. We sat and watched as several servers made eye contact while they chatted. We sat for fifteen minutes without so much as a greeting. So at that point, we stood up and left. I've been coming here for years and there's been a noticeable decline in service each time. Poor management combined with employees that demonstrate a lazy and entitled attitude means I won't be back anytime soon. Too many other good options popping up around town. As alternatives I recommend the Goat & Clover or Trail Life Brewing.
