The beer was good, the food also tasty. I ordered a cobb salad but my criticism is the tiny, tall bowl. We foodies watch Food Network and I know you do too, so maybe a larger, shallow bowl would work better. Which is why I asked for the plate. Then your server put his fingers all over it, I saw it happen. I am also a former food service worker, BIG no no. Only the edge, empty or full, dude :-(

This is a cool little brewery right in the middle of the downtown district on Main Street. While their beer is the main attraction, their food is pretty good too. The specialty food menu item is the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich (which apparently can sometimes sell out). It tasted great, but it was not as spicy as I expected based on other reviews.
The beer selection was mostly their own brews with a few guest taps from other breweries. They also had a decent selection of non-beer drinks like cider, hard kombucha, seltzer, and wine.
The service was prompt and helpful, and we’ll be back.

I’ve been here dozens of times and their seasonal and permanent vegan staples are literally life-altering.
Somewhere in these reviews, you will find someone say the Vegan Tofu Katsu Sandwich is the reason they and their partner moved to Grand Junction. I am the other half of that relationship, and am here to say, that is not an exaggeration.
To be clear - the vegan food here is so good that at least two people upended their lives and moved to be closer to Trail Life’s food and vibes. Yup, it’s that good.

Trail Life Brewery is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the outdoor beer garden is the perfect place to relax with friends. The food is outstanding—seriously, the Chicken Katsu sandwich is to die for. As for the drinks, their Mexican Lager is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, and I love that they also offer Coors Banquet for those who prefer a classic over craft. Between the great vibes, amazing food, and stellar beer selection, Trail Life Brewery is our go to spot!

Good atmosphere. The burger used to be delicious, but sadly they stopped consistently smashing their burger patties unless you repeatedly request it. Even then, it might not happen. The fries can sometimes be really crunchy.

We were incredibly impressed with Trail Life Brewing's vast vegan menu. They're not just putting a simple burger on their menu for us, they're walking the walk! My husband and I had their falafel wrap, salad, fries, brussel sprouts, and Dead Pet Series beers. All exceeded our expectations! The vibe is really great too, they had a musician on the patio singing during our visit and plenty of available tables even though they were super busy. We had our drinks and food within 20 minutes of arriving so the service is very efficient too. This place is a definite must when visiting the area.
