The beer was good, the food also tasty. I ordered a cobb salad but my criticism is the tiny, tall bowl. We foodies watch Food Network and I know you do too, so maybe a larger, shallow bowl would work better. Which is why I asked for the plate. Then your server put his fingers all over it, I saw it happen. I am also a former food service worker, BIG no no. Only the edge, empty or full, dude :-(
This is a cool little brewery right in the middle of the downtown district on Main Street. While their beer is the main attraction, their food is pretty good too. The specialty food menu item is the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich (which apparently can sometimes sell out). It tasted great, but it was not as spicy as I expected based on other reviews.

Was looking at my reviews and was shocked that I hadn’t reviewed Trail Life yet!
I’ve been here dozens of times and their seasonal and permanent vegan staples are literally life-altering.
Somewhere in these reviews, you will find someone say the Vegan Tofu Katsu Sandwich is the reason they and their partner moved to Grand Junction. I am the other half of that relationship, and am here to say, that is not an exaggeration.
