After checking out Rocky Mountain National Park, we decided to try Grand Lake’s Pizza. I called in for pickup but forgot to ask about the prices beforehand (rookie mistake). We ordered a Supreme and a Hawaiian. Before I even looked at the receipt, I wanted to guess what they cost… and let’s just say the price left me stunned.
Now, don’t get me wrong—the pizzas were probably some of the best I’ve ever had. The crust tasted fresh, the toppings were flavorful, and the cheese was generously layered. Even the sauce stood out—rich, tangy, and clearly made with care. The pepperoni and ham were nothing like what you get at chain places; they weren’t greasy or overly salty. And surprisingly, the pizzas themselves weren’t oily at all. So here I am, going back and forth in my head: yes, the pizzas were incredible, but the price made us feel a bit scammed—especially being from out of town. At the same time, part of me keeps justifying it because the quality really was that good.
In short: hands down the best pizza we’ve ever had… but also the most expensive.

We ordered to go on a whim and let me say the pizza and salad exceeded every expectation! Greek salad was giant, fresh, and loaded with flavorful ingredients. And the pizza….wow! Super cheesy, perfectly cooked, and that crust was out of this world! Will definitely be our go to pizza joint for future vacations in this incredible town!

Well worth the walk down the street. The rest of the places were very crowded and we were able to get seated quickly. In fact, I think that we got the last table available at that time. The zucchini was good, and our friends liked the greek salad and the pizza. The service was prompt and friendly. Would not hesitate to come back.
