“WORTH THE STOP. This place was highly recommended by a local in Granby and we loved it! We ordered the meat lovers pizza. We tried many pizzas but this location is top notch.”
“We had the best time here. So welcoming and attentive. Jenny was extra careful ensuring items were vegan for us. Their house beer was very tasty. Grateful we found this spot. We loved our evening there.”
“Best steaks in Colorado and the peanut butter cup dessert was insane! Can’t wait to come back and we literally just left! Service was fantastic as well. Thank you!”
“Visited 6/2023 with my daughter for a quick breakfast and we absolutely loved this shop. The woman working was very sweet and helpful, the little gift shop was cute, and they have by far the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had in my life! Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re passing through!”
“When you are in town for a few days, although you want to try new places, you sometimes still tend to find a "home base." This place was ours. After driving for five hours around a snowstorm, we needed food and drink. This place was perfect. Baxter (also apparently has an alternative identity as Felix) and Jewel were our bartenders, and they made our arrival fantastic start to finish. I had the Island Burger (including the pineapple that comes on it and is recommended) and it was delicious. Burger was solid, but the toppings and sauce made the taste awesome. The wife had the ramen with chicken and loved it. My favorite words together are "house made hot sauce," and Baxter had two of them for me. One was something green and magical, and the other was a maple Sriracha. Their aioli for my fries was also stellar. Service was efficient, personable, and energetic. The IPA they have in house is Hazer Tag. Given we judge our painkillers from The Soggy Dollar in the islands, I would rate theirs as top notch. They also have stickers in the islands that if you do an IG post with it, you get some free stuff next time in. Also, Baxter just bought 500 pens that say "Stolen from One Rum Kitchen" that he was very excited about as a marketing plan and needs help in distributing/marketing globally for everyone's next trip to Grand Lake. So, ask for a pen and make sure you give it to someone in an airport or something to help their cause. Background music made you believe there was a beach outside. If you don't like the prices, make sure to check out their happy hour (3-5 EVERY day), where much stuff is half price. Great value. Kelly and Kayle were also great behind the bar on our return trips. If in the mood for a shot, they have an awesome rum from Barbados behind the bar. We hit up the happy hour our other two days without even hesitating. I definitely recommend this place, and see you there...the next time we are up that way, or when I find those stickers in St. John in August and have to return for free stuff.”
“When so many restaurants have almost the same menus...Rockies was absolutely amazing. The service was perfect, the food was better...I LOVED being warned about the siracha sauce- but it was just the perfect amount! We will be back!!!”
“This place is awesome! Down home feel for real. Chris the bartender is talkative, friendly and working his butt off. Beer is cold and the wings are on point. I'm coming back next time we're in town for sure. Check it out!”
“Listen. I am going to be transparent. I am actually always transparent, to a fault. We would have to had a HORRIBLE experience here for me not to rate it a five-star place. Roadhouse. Family Guy. Road road. Ghost ghost. Ghost house. Etc. I am 51 years old. Do the math. ANYWAY, it delivered. We stayed at a cabin within two miles, and I made my wife go. Here is my ALWAYS detailed review.First, as always, service. Kayla, you had your regulars, we obviously were NOT regulars, but you treated as such. Thanks for the great service, and your bosses need to look into a raise besides the tips. The place was perfect, and I would recommend stopping by if you just "want to feel what a Colorado bar feels like." The one oddity I found was the size of the pool table, but it kind of made our experience more fun. My wife doesn't usually beat me at pool, but the four foot pool table (estimating) was fun for both of us. Listen, I can preach to you about the place. I can preach to you about the nearby Hot Sulphur Springs (one of the best in CO), and I can preach to you about how cool Granby and Grand Lake are. But, you do YOU. LOVED this place. If you are driving through, put this on the itinerary.Definitely recommend and see you there.By the way, if you live in Fraser, vote for my buddy Brian Cerkvenik for Mayor. Dude is a stud. See you on the flip side.”
“Was there on a Sunday night and service and food were fantastic. Abundance of toppings and we got to pet their giant fluffy dog. ? the only thing I can critique is possibly turning the TV down or mute w closed captions on?”
“We had a quick coffee and muffin with an old friend. The coffee and muffins were delicious. The space is clean and inviting. The staff was friendly. What's more to like?”
“Ray was our bartender/server/surrogate mom for the evening, and she made our night an 11/10. The food was great, the drinks were exceptional, and Ray's attention made my husband's 40th birthday.”
“Have been living in Grand County for just over 4 months and I am so happy that this place exists. After living in Seattle for 11 years I often crave pho, and this place does the trick! The broth is rich, the noodles are tender and perfect, toppings are great, and you’re provided with hoisin sauce as well as sriracha. My mom really enjoyed the fried rice when she came up to visit, as well. It’s not fancy, but the folks who work there are kind, and it’s a funky place with good food in the middle of the mountains!”
“Not sure why this place has a bad rating (3.7 at the time of this review). Our Mexican food was delicious! The burritos and fajitas were so yummy, and the amazing fried ice cream dessert was big enough for three to share! Our waitress was super nice too. Very happy we walked in for dinner. Would return!”
“Enjoyed a wonderful Thursday evening at the Apothecary with great music by Jazz Anomaly and a delicious dinner. We had the chicken a la plancho, an applewood burger and prime rib tacos and all were delicious. We will be back!”
“Work in town and this is my fave lunch spot when I eat out.Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten free bread and buns. You can also request no sauce if you’re allergic to something in it (tomatoes for me). I am not a big honey mustard fan, but I LOVE theirs.”
