My husband & I love The Rapids restaurant. It’s our go to when we want a wonderful meal. The food is top notch & Tatiana is such a special lady & makes the dining experience that much better. The Chef, Max, never disappoints. It’s the cutest setting. I look forward to eating outside by the river as the weather gets nicer.

Rapids Lodge is a special place in Grand Lake, located in a historic 1915 building that has been beautifully renovated while still honoring its character. The location is absolutely breathtaking, and the venue is great for dining riverside. New owners have put a ton of time and effort into the place, showing great pride in every detail. It feels inviting, comfortable, and thoughtfully done, with a warm, cozy atmosphere perfect for groups, couples, or families with a baby. The food is flavorful and delicious. Standout items include the deviled eggs, trout appetizer, duck drumettes, Elk Medallions, Lamb Chops, bison, and chicken Marsala. The beef was cooked perfectly, and the Key Lime dessert and other made-from-scratch desserts are worth saving room for. The cocktails are creative and well balanced, including a lovely dirty martini. The service is warm, attentive, welcoming, and accommodating, even on busy nights. The owners are fabulous people who really care about their community and create elevated Western hospitality that feels authentic. No place better for a dinner in Grand Lake.
