“I wish I could give Idlewild 10 stars! Best vegan food we have had in a while! We got the shishito peppers, the vegan sliders, the vegan ravioli, and the vegan chocolate mousse. The chef is vegan and even came out to greet us! We also got several drinks, my husband got alcoholic mixed drinks and I got their mocktails. All of the drinks were super good! The vibe was super cool as well! Best place to eat in Grand County! We will definitely be back!”

“To start their was some confusion with getting 9 seated. They got it figured out and all worked out just fine. However, if it wasn’t a weeknight I do not think it would have been possible. We ordered ahi tuna ceviche, lobster tacos and surf + turf tacos …. Everyone really enjoyed. Strawberry Fresca was delicious (nice to have a yummy drink option that’s non alcoholic). No kids menu but waiter was super accommodating, recommended less spicy menu items, and even made some chicken tenders for part of our group. Will definitely come back.”

“Delightful bakery! We had a bakers dozen of a mix of sweet treats. Loved that the person behind the counter also offered up a great suggestion of a local trail. We got the tip that the cinnamon roll was the most popular item followed by the scone. We also tried a selection of donuts, turnovers and croissants. We heard the sandwich/burritos were also popular.”

“A great stop during a cold day on the slopes. Hours are unclear, but seems like 11a-2p on weekends and busy days. The chili is delicious. We tried the bison, vegan, and green chili. Canned beer available. There a warming hut and the main building, both can be pretty cramped but at least they’re warm. Restrooms are small but manageable.”

“My husband and I came here for ice cream after lunch. We were IN LOVE with the waffle cones and ice cream. We both agreed it was by far the best ice cream cones we've ever had. We will be coming back. I ordered the brownie Carmel fudge swirl (may not be the exact name but something like that) and he ordered vanilla. Service was fine, they were straight to business and didn't chit chat but that's fine. The chairs and tables seemed kind of cramped inside, I had to move chairs to look at the plants they had for sale.”
