“To start their was some confusion with getting 9 seated. They got it figured out and all worked out just fine. However, if it wasn’t a weeknight I do not think it would have been possible. We ordered ahi tuna ceviche, lobster tacos and surf + turf tacos …. Everyone really enjoyed. Strawberry Fresca was delicious (nice to have a yummy drink option that’s non alcoholic). No kids menu but waiter was super accommodating, recommended less spicy menu items, and even made some chicken tenders for part of our group. Will definitely come back.”

“I wish I could give Idlewild 10 stars! Best vegan food we have had in a while! We got the shishito peppers, the vegan sliders, the vegan ravioli, and the vegan chocolate mousse. The chef is vegan and even came out to greet us! We also got several drinks, my husband got alcoholic mixed drinks and I got their mocktails. All of the drinks were super good! The vibe was super cool as well! Best place to eat in Grand County! We will definitely be back!”

“As I took a self-clarity drive into the mountains for a scenic view, I came across a small coffee shop in the quiet ski town of Winter Park called Moon Frog Coffee. I had the pleasure of chatting with one of the staff members, Caroline, who provided such a warm and welcoming experience.

She prepared a fresh, hot Americano paired with a warm chocolate chip croissant—both were absolutely delicious. While I was there, I also noticed their merchandise, and their hot sauces caught my eye. I decided to support local and purchased four bottles.

I stopped into Terrain Taco in Winter Park after a long day exploring the mountains, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the casual, welcoming vibe made me feel right at home. The place has a relaxed mountain-town energy with inventive tacos and shareable plates that go way beyond basic.

I ordered a couple of their creative tacos and they were absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and perfectly balanced. Everything tasted high-quality and thoughtfully prepared. It’s clear they put real care into the food here.

the red belly, yellow belly,and green belly hot sauces from nearby Boulder,CO were excellent as well.

What really stood out though was the service. **Eleni** was fantastic from the moment she greeted me. Super friendly, attentive, and very professional. Even dining alone, she made the experience feel personal and enjoyable, checking in at just the right moments without being overbearing.

Portions were generous, the atmosphere was chill and comfortable, and the whole meal hit the spot perfectly. Whether you’re with a group or flying solo like I was, Terrain Taco delivers on flavor, quality, and hospitality. I’ll definitely make it a regular stop next time I’m in Winter Park. Highly recommend!”

“I ordered Som Tom and larb gai. It was not authentic Thai dish at all. They didn't have sticky rice and didn't ask me how spicy I wanted my food from 1-5. Had to add my own seasoning. I would rate this place 2 out of 5.”

“Been there for since the 80's. Not changed much since, very nostalgic. Food is average and expensive, better quality than years before. Workers have good attitude. The bar keeps are the best!”

“A great stop during a cold day on the slopes. Hours are unclear, but seems like 11a-2p on weekends and busy days. The chili is delicious. We tried the bison, vegan, and green chili. Canned beer available. There a warming hut and the main building, both can be pretty cramped but at least they’re warm. Restrooms are small but manageable.”
