On vacation at Hot Sulphur springs drove down here this cold morning for their homemade biscuits but traffic was heavy and took us longer then maps said. We Walked in at 11:02am and they wouldn’t serve us breakfast. Waitress denied us and wouldn’t even ask if they could make an exception even though there was only one table being served. so definitely was a bummer to drive all this way for no reason. Wasn’t the mountain town hospitality we were hoping for..

Now that they have cut out half of their tables to put in a merchandise area, the place has lost all of its small town atmosphere. It is hard to get a table without waiting now if it is busy for any reason. It's disappointing. The food is still good, but I fear that's changing as well with everything else. Grand Lake is becoming more of an overpriced Estes Park location than a historic small town feel.

Went here for dinner on vacation. I will preface by acknowledging this was on Halloween and they were likely busy.
Husband and I ordered takeout for two burgers. Total was $44+, which would be fine if they were worth the price. They were not.
First, we picked it up and drove it back to our hotel. Both burgers were embarrassingly wrong. My husband ordered the BBQ buffalo burger and it didn’t come with the bacon, cheese or barbecue sauce. We essentially just got two buns and patties. After calling, they had us bring the burgers back and just added the missing ingredients.
On top of that, I specifically requested mine be well-done. It was nowhere near cooked correctly and obviously that wasn’t fixed.
We were left eating two cold overpriced burgers. Just disappointed with our experience and wanted to let other travelers know what to possibly expect.

I had a large take-out order planned with Sagebrush a couple of weeks in advance. When the day came, they were very good at ensuring a smooth process. All the food was piping hot and delicious! Our guests raved over the brisket, ribs and wild game sausage. Nice smoke on the meats! The potato salad, cole slaw and corn bread were all on point! Carrot cake was the best!!
