Cute little coffee shop to stop at after driving through RMNP. It’s at the end of Grand Lake town so not crowded at all. Fair prices and beautiful seating area to view the lake. Can imagine would be busy during the summer.
I chose The Wake Coffee Shop as they have a healthy breakfast option, "The Crunchy Power Bowl" that come with ancient grains, savory kale, sweet dates, nuts, and chickpeas topped off with a savory curry sauce.
The overall dish was good; however, the chickpeas were cold and tasted like they came straight from the can. Would have tasted better if they were warmed up a bit.
Additionally, all the good stuff was at the bottom of the dish...

I had such an amazing experience! We arrived just as they were about to close, and they were already cleaning the coffee machine. Despite this, they kindly served us and prepared three coffees for us without hesitation. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you could tell they care about their customers. The coffee was delicious. I highly recommend this place for both the quality of the coffee and the outstanding...
