I am a local, had to stop here to withdrawal money, wish I had driven to Bailey! The owner wanted to know why I needed so much money, and then told me that he would have to charge me, of course I said. I decided to ask what his favorite jerky was and he invited me in which was a huge mistake on my part. He did NOT have on a mask in his tiny store, proceeded to then touch me which he knew made me uncomfortable, and when I went back to get my receipt because I knew I was overcharged...read full review

Very angry people there. Was riding by, going very slowly mind you, and was accosted by some gentleman just because we were on motorcycles. He accused us of going 70MPH past his place. Some motorcycle may have but it was not us. He was even approaching us with what looked like violence on his mind so we gently pulled away.

This place is a freaking gem. Tasty tasty tasty. The pulled pork was so flavorful it honestly didn't even need sauce. The coleslaw was so fresh and delicious. This place is honestly a food oasis in the mountains. Just another reason to drive Guanella Pass.
