Doug’s Diner Reviews
We have breakfast at Doug’s every Saturday and have always loved the food and service. It seems since the new owners took over, the same quality is not there. The last 2 visits, my ham and cheese omelette is cold and the cheese is not melted, the new hash browns are not as good, and the pancake has a different flavor. The service is ok, but we were forgotten our last visit and had to flag someone down to complete our order.
We have had good experiences before, but today we were extremely disappointed. Our waitress took our order, brought drinks, and then we never saw her again. It was over an hour of waiting, with no explanation or checking in.
we used to go here anytime we wanted breakfast as it was the best! now they changed the hashbrowns and the gravy on the chicken fried steak and I'm disappointed. not the same anymore.

Doug's Diner is a popular local restaurant in downtown Greeley that focuses on breakfast and lunch. With eight locations in the Greeley-Fort Collins area, each offers a standard menu along with some local specials. The diner features a large inside dining area, a breakfast bar, and an outside patio where customers can enjoy their meals. The decor is simple, with pictures of Greeley's downtown adding a local touch.
The service is efficient and friendly, with food arriving quickly after ordering. The menu provides a variety of options at reasonable prices, with generous portions. The huevos socorro and Mona Lisa omelet are especially enjoyed by many customers. The patio seating in the shade is a favorite spot for some, offering a pleasant dining experience outdoors. However, when busy, the restaurant can get quite loud, partly due to loud music from the kitchen, which some find annoying enough to consider other places for breakfast.
Customers appreciate the clean restaurant and attentive staff, noting that food prices are fair given the location near Denver. The breakfast burrito is massive, and crepes are satisfying, making it a good place to go with friends. Overall, Doug’s Diner remains a recommended spot for individuals and groups seeking a hearty, satisfying meal in Greeley.
