Always excellent food and service!
The vibe was nice when we walked in. We were able to be sat even tho we had a party of 8 without a reservation. The food was mid. The server was rude.

Shout out to April… We celebrated a graduation here with a party of 11 and April made our experience absolutely perfect! She was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our drinks stayed filled and every order came out exactly right. Great food, great atmosphere but April’s service really took our celebration to the next level. We will definitely be back!

Mother's day brunch is overhyped and overpriced. Food flavor has steadily gone downhill and this year was worse that past. What started out as a good deal has ballooned up to 60 dollars per person. Note to anyone when they get their receipt, the tip is likely included so dont give more than you're already obligated. We will likely not come back for this once annual tradition.

Atmosphere is really nice and I was expecting a good experience. Unfortunately it wasn’t. Got there at 8:20, they close at 9:00. Our server was too busy cleaning up to take care of us. We had to ask for chips and salsa, she never checked on us until we were nearly done eating, and our drinks were empty multiple times. Food wasn’t much better. The salsa had no texture, just seasoned tomato sauce. The taco and tostada shells are cheap boxed ones instead of freshly made. Ground beef in the taco was mushy and grainy. Tasted very processed instead of real meat. Beans ok, enchilada sauce ok. Iced tea was very light. More like tinted water than tea.

First time visiting. Ordered the chicken chimichanga smothered with green chile.
It was horrible. Chicken tasted like tuna. Beans were horrible. I think everything is processed food. Our server, Karen needs to be fired. She was more interested in cleaning so she could go home. Had to flag here down every time we needed something.

My family and I came for Cinco de Mayo. Obviously, they were busy, but the server was doing great. My 3-year-old daughter was sitting in the booth next to her dad. My husband noticed that there was blood on the seat of the booth. My daughter’s leg was bleeding. My husband went and asked the host for some bandaids. I was trying to figure out how she got hurt. Her pant leg was covered in blood, and I removed glass from the cut. There was glass on the seat that poked her in the leg. As soon as my 3-year-old saw the blood, it completely freaked her out. I asked for a manager to let them know what was happening. The host was nice and cleaned up her leg and gave us a band-Aid. However the manager didn’t even ask if she was okay or waiting until my daughter stopped crying before handing my husband an incident report. They didn’t offer to clean up the glass or wipe down the seat for us. They didn’t offer to move our tables. The server mentioned that the boys didn’t clean up the booth very well. I asked if my daughter could have some ice cream, hoping it would make her feel better while we figured out what to do. It didn’t. She was understandably scared and didn’t want to be there anymore. We asked for the food to go and also already had to go get food coming for a family member at home. The enchiladas were completely dumped out in the bag they gave us. We didn’t want to make our toddler wait for them to bring all the to-go stuff since they were busy, so we left.
We understand accidents happen but I’m very disappointed on how the situation was handled. My husband and I work in the food industry and my first thought would be to wait until everything is calm again before giving an incident report. Also moving the family to another clean table making sure no one else got hurt.

Food came out cold, no fruit in the margarita like the picture but I got charged extra for tajin. I couldn't substitute black beans for refried beans or they would charge me extra. Never going back again!

Food was ok, service was questionable and it seemed kinda dead for a lunch hour. Not a place I recommend.

La Mariposa is one of those places that never disappoints. The Mexican food is fantastic, full of flavor and always served fresh. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable.
The prices are fair, especially considering how consistently good the food is. And if you haven’t tried their Sunday breakfast buffet, you’re missing out — it’s tasty, fun, and a great way to start the day.
Great food, great people, great atmosphere. La Mariposa is an easy favorite.
