The Mortality of Pancakes at Benedict’s
Had we walked out for the very last time
in knowing we could never walk back in,
nomad diner, Addison then Plano,
spiral branded clouds bearing the wages,
wouldn’t we have lingered past the lease end
and staring at the storefront neon sign,
as the discharged angels cleared the tables,
chairs assembled like a coffin for god.
We sure could have gone for one more pancake.

Best breakfast in town. Great staff! My highest recommendation.
We have always had excellent service and amazing meals. I travel from Pueblo Colorado to eat here with my sister who lives in Centennial. Today however we waited 30 mins for water and coffee. Was not busy for a Monday mid morning. I finally went to talk to the manager who truly apologized for the delay and lack of service. He took control of our table and within mins we had coffee and had taken our order. Will once again return. Thank you
