Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse is exceptional. The food is outstanding and the service is top tier. The General Manager and Miguel our server made us feel like we were transported to the golden era of a top notch classy steakhouse with impeccable service. Miguel made us feel taken care of. He is excellent at what he does and he cares. The food is great but how Miguel and the General Manager made us feel is the reason we will return for another meal.
1. Initially received the incorrect fish entree, sea bass instead of swordfish 2. Steak was undercooked.. medium rare instead of medium 3. Creamed spinach was extremely creamy ... I expect the best of the best from Del Frisco's... having eaten there for > 20 years on special occasions
This was our first visit back to Del Frisco's in a while. We used to love going there but in all honesty the food quality for us was sub par after they were bought by Landry's.After a couple less than stellar visits, we stopped going. Fast forward to yesterday, we were given a gift certificate so decided to try them for lunch on a Monday. Surprisingly very quiet in there. Only a handful of tables at 12:30pm were occupied. Used to be a very vibrant and busy lunch place....
