Nice and enjoyable meal. Sashimi was good, a bit dry.

This is probably the best sushi I’ve had in the Denver area. Also the dining area isn’t cluttered with TV’s and distractions which adds to the experience. They play a lot of pop music which threw me off but the food and service is top notch.

Delicious. Highly recommend the yummy yummy roll.
Very slow service. Only one server for the whole restaurant. (Around 6:30-6:45pm on Sunday night). We sat probably 15 minutes with just water (and did not having the opportunity to even order drinks or appetizers) while a table who came after us was able to put in their order. We ate there another time and the food was just okay.

To start I just want to say I rarely ever write reviews for anything. However the food is so good here I regularly tell all my friends. Currently This is a bit of an undiscovered gem. We have been here a number of times now and every time the food is super fresh and delicious. There are so many creative and different rolls than you would find elsewhere. It easily rivals other more well known sushi restaurants but with a much more laid back atmosphere. The staff is great at making suggestions and I don’t hesitate to try all kinds of new things every time I come. Be sure to check it out!!

Sushi, sashimi and tempura offerings are uniformly excellent. Service, too, is helpful and entertaining (Alex). Free parking in this mini mall that offers a number of other dining options, including Ocean Prime. There are a few marginally better sushi restaurants in Denver but they're much more expensive, ... and who wants to deal with parking and the other well-known ills of downtown?

Food was just ok. Miso soup didn't have much flavor, and the salad dressing was bumpy and not much flavor. The rolls weren't bad.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, and very good service. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall experience felt polished and enjoyable.
That said, the portion sizes are way too small for the price point. We shared three rolls, and they were all on the smaller side (see picture of credit card for perspective). The total cost came out to $46 including a 20% tip, which felt steep given the quantity of food.
I would have given this place 5 stars if their portions were at least 2x what they actually served. It’s the only thing holding them back from being top-tier.
For context, I write a large number of reviews and most of them are 5 stars, so I don’t say that lightly. This place has everything going for it. Just needs to address the portion sizing.

Restaurantji Recommends
This small, family‑owned sushi restaurant absolutely blew me away. Every roll had its own distinct flavor profile, the fish was incredibly fresh, and the quality rivaled Sushi Den — which says everything. Our server was fantastic; her recommendations were spot‑on, and she made the best lemon drop cocktail I’ve ever had. You can feel the pride and care in every part of the experience. This place is a true gem, and I can’t wait to go back

We went for a special dinner with plans to just order rolls. We had several standard rolls and a couple off of the specialty lists. They were all delicious and had that nice fresh taste to them. Service was very friendly.
