The Original Pancake House - DTC

Completely outrageous good. As a customer for many decades, OH continues to out perform. Perfect apple pancake, tender ham, hot coffee, professional service by Tony! Couldn't be better!

Nathan was great! We came for breakfast on the 4th of July. It was very busy but we were immediately greeted abd were seated within 10 minutes. Nathan, our server, was funny, friendly, and attentive. The good was great and we plan to return to try more. This pace is definitely family friendly with comfort breakfast staples like crepes, eggs benedict, waffles, pancakes, and classics like ham and eggs etc.

I got the Canadian ham and eggs with over medium eggs. It came with the country potatoes, 3 pancakes, and 2 pieces of thick cut bacon. I added a side of their lingonberry syrup/jam and it did not disappoint

Wow! The entire meal was delicious! We came after picking my hubby up form the airport on our way home to the springs . Friday 8am was busy but we got right in. Prompt service ! I ordered the banana pancakes (3x4?) with the eggs . The bacon that I stole from my hubby was also excellent as was the coffee and homemade OJ ! Management seemed really good as they checked in on us on top of what the waitress was already doing. Will absolutely be back. Again - delicious food!

The Original Pancake House is easily one of the best breakfast restaurants you'll ever visit—and one you'll find yourself craving long after you leave. Our favorite location is the DTC restaurant, where many of the servers have been there for nearly a decade—a testament to the incredible staff and welcoming atmosphere.

The menu options are endless, but our family's favorites include the egg and bacon plate with bacon pancakes, the egg and ham plate, the seasonal strawberry crepes with homemade strawberry syrup, and the kids' Smiley Plate. We have never left disappointed—every experience has been exceptional.

Whether you're dining as a couple, with kids, or with a larger group, The Original Pancake House is a family-friendly establishment that truly has something for everyone.

Pro tip: Add yourself to the online waitlist before you arrive, because there's almost always a wait. Once you try it, you'll understand exactly why.

I do not live near the DTC location, but I will absolutely make the drive back just for the experience. Our server Tomari was truly exceptional – warm, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about the menu in a way that felt genuinely passionate rather than scripted or salesy. She is the kind of server that makes you want to come back just for her.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we got to enjoy it on the patio on a perfect warm day with an incredible breeze, completely out of the sun. It was one of those meals where everything just came together.

If you have not been, go. And if you get Tomari, consider yourself lucky.

This is a great breakfast place, the food is fantastic, the service is very good, and the atmosphere is outstanding! We love to be seated outside when the weather is nice! Great as always!

Great food with very kind and competent staff. Every item i had was excellent . Great bacon and ham. Omelets were gigantic and wonderful. Order the apple cinnamon pancake for the table as an appetizer. Order it as soon as you sit down.

Great place for breakfast.

Awesome play to eat ! But the waitress could of been more welcoming she was only straight forward an doing her job not offering other suggestions ,it felt like she was bothered ,an we were feeling uncomfortable to have breakfast there!

A group of beautiful women (mothers) of mixed ethnicities came in for an early breakfast after a special experience of a sunrise at Red Rocks and we were met with impatience, feeling rushed, and overall rudeness that made the entire group feel unwelcome. The food was not the problem, but unfortunately the service felt passive-aggressive and that we were bothering the staff by being there (giving them business). I'm sure we can find friendlier pancakes somewhere else...

I only gave two stars for service simply because ouraon server took out drink order and that was it. Two other servers had to pick up where she left off bring our drink order and taking our food order. Not sure if she was new, but she certainly was given more than she could handle. Thankful for those who picked up her slack; they were fabulous.
We visit TOPH often, this was the first we couldn't offer a better review.
