The food had good flavor, but it wasn’t what we ordered. We had phoned in an order, which was before the 3 pm deadline. Nobody called back to report any issues. It wasn’t until I called to add a salad that I was informed the voicemail wasn’t working, yet the girl could confirm my name? I was informed that the order could not be ready until 8pm. The WORST experience! Didn’t get bread served to us. All the waiters running around like chickens with their heads cut off. We sat for 2 hours on Father’s Day and didn’t get our food. Got charged someone else’s bill $80 more. The list goes on. I DO NOT recommend this place.
Whenever I’m in Gunnison, I enjoy eating at Garlic Mike’s. I was excited to have my 75th birthday dinner there on January 5, 2025. The cream of mushroom soup and flatiron steak were very good, however the Alfredo sauce was thin and tasteless. We weren’t offered freshly grated Parmesan cheese which is standard for an Italian restaurant! I was disappointed there was no free offer of a birthday dessert or just a scoop of ice cream.
