$9 beers?! Service good. Food decent. Salad lettuce was on the edge. Thing that turned us off was cleanliness. Or lack thereof. Grungy salt and pepper shakers and ketchup bottle. All glass, entry door to bathrooms were in need of cleaning. And worst of all, hardly anyone in the place and wait staff sitting around chatting like there was nothing to do!
We started on a 'Slice of America' pie tour and Palisades was our first stop. It didn't disappoint, got we split a delicious BLT, homemade potato chips and a pumpkin pecan cobbler. Not exactly pie but it counts. The BLT had plenty of bacon and the bread was perfectly toasted with an awesome crunch. The potato chips were by far the highlight of our visit. Fried to perfection with just right amount of seasoning (not just salt).
